It’s super nice! I got my samples in the other day and I’m really happy with it. I got the Knight Vision Hoodie, the 1.e4 hat, and the Sorry Chess T-shirt.

The Hoodie is very warm and very soft and it does run up a size as mentioned in the description on the store site. The design didn’t bleed through or anything weird like that and the colors are good and don’t seem to be off at all. Very comfortable. I’ll definitely be wearing that to tournaments since I always get cold 😅

The T shirt is a similar story. The design came through great, the material is soft and breathable, there’s no bleed, and it runs true to size! I will say that after a wash, the shirt shrunk up a bit, but I ordered my true size and when it arrived it was slightly larger than I would’ve expected (still didn’t seem bad, I just though it was a little long). The shrink from the wash made it fit perfectly though, and now I think it’s just very comfortable.

Not much to be said about the hat. It’s a comfortable hat, good embroidery, colors are good and match what was shown on the site. Solid.

The Chess Merch Store is now live! (along with other gaming related merch… and also my “brand” that needs things added to it)

The “Sorry Chess” design is from a running joke because I always have to use the bathroom at tournaments. I wanted the design on a shirt for myself as an “apology” to my opponents who seemingly get annoyed that I have to leave the table so often. Sorry everyone!

I really like the how the Knight Vision design came out. I used AI to generate the image because I am not an artist, and then edited it quite heavily in Gimp 3.0 and added the text and filters. I wish I was a better artist, but alas, my vision was realized nonetheless.

The store has mostly Chess merch in it at the moment, but I have some good ideas for some DayZ related merch and the b-zero brand. There’s also a small sale live to celebrate the launch!
